Golf League Handicap Tracker ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Golf League Handicap Tracker iOS app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
The App may collect the following types of information to enable account creation and cloud backup functionality:
- Email address — used to identify your account for cloud backup and restore.
- Name — used to personalize your in-app experience.
Per Apple's App Store privacy nutrition label, contact information (email address and name) is collected but is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Golf and Score Data
Scores, handicap records, player names, course data, and tee sheet information that you enter into the App are stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to a Group Handicap membership and use the Backup / Restore feature, this data may also be uploaded to our secure servers solely to enable the cloud backup and restore functionality.
We do not sell, share, or use your golf data for any purpose other than providing the App's stated features.
Published Scores
When you use the "Publish & Share with Members" feature, selected score data is uploaded to our server and associated with a unique token. Only users who receive the email containing that token can access the published scores. Published data is used solely to enable members to view league results.
In-App Purchases
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Golf League Handicap Tracker does not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for details on how payment data is handled.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs. It does not track your behavior across other apps or websites. Course data is retrieved from our own server infrastructure.
Data Retention
Cloud backup data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You may request deletion of your cloud data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Local data stored on your device is managed through iOS and can be deleted by removing the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
